Heart gold where is red

There's a hidden Dire Hit in the darker stone ahead and the exit is just east of this. This section is pretty linear and, if you take three staircases up from here and then head south, you'll find TM76 - Stealth Rock, an entry hazard that deals damage based on a Pokemon's vulnerability to Rock-type moves.

From this TM, go north until you see the second staircase; take it down and go inside the cave to find a Full Restore. This area is a dead-end otherwise, so back outside, take two more stairways down and follow the path to find the middle cave opening of this area, which is where you need to go to continue. Once you're back inside of Mt. Silver proper, you can follow the path until you get to the staircase leading up.

Take a detour to the right of this structure and examine the stalagmite at the dead-end for a free hidden Revive. Continue up the stairway and you'll emerge in Mt. Silver Cave 3F, a spiraling, maze-like area. You'll want to circle the room in a counter-clockwise fashion to advance.

There are some items that are slightly out of the way that can you collect, including a Max Elixir to the left of the room's second stairway and a Max Revive just southeast of the northern exit. You want to get to the left southern exit, but they are blocked off for now, so leave through the northern exit. You'll emerge back outside, on a higher, snowy area of the mountainside. If you wrap around to the right and go through the first opening you see, you'll end up back in the spiralling room, near a Protein on the ground.

After the Protein, go back outside. You'll be weaving in and out of the last room a few times here to proceed, so go through the lower entrance, walk through the next section of the cave's interior, and then go back outside once again. Wrap around this next edge of the snowy exterior and you'll find the entrance that leads to the right exit of the spiralling room.

If you want to get the Pure Incense, which is required to breed for Chimecho's pre-evolution Chingling, you can climb the two sets of rocks to the left of this area and then head right to find it off on the side of the mountain. Going up the third rock formation here leads to dead-end, although there's a Rare Candy hidden in the rock. Otherwise, go back inside of Mt.

Silver Cave 3F, head across to the left exit, and go back outside. This is the last part of Silver Cave's exterior. Climb up the rock formation near the cave's entrance and you'll see that there are three paths of rocks head: the left path takes you to a Dawn Stone, which evolves Kirlia into Gallade and Snorunt into Froslass, while the right path leads to a dead-end with a hidden Hyper Potion on the ground.

To proceed, you'll take the middle path, which goes to the next room of Mt. This section is straightforward, so head through and use Rock Climb at the end of the path. Before going back outside, examine the rock on the far right of this ledge for a hidden Max Revive. Go outside and you'll emerge on the mountain's summit, and across from you is the final boss of the game, who has nothing to say but " Save your file and talk to him to begin the toughest battle of the game.

Red is, without question, the hardest Trainer in the game; you shouldn't think about challenging him until your team is at the VERY LEAST levels , and even then you'll need tons of healing items and luck to win. During this battle, Hail will never end unless you use another weather move, but you can use this to your advantage and stall Red out if you have a lot of Revives and Full Restores.

Speaking of which, Red frustratingly has four of his own Full Restores to use. Make no mistake: Red's Pikachu is no longer dead weight. The good news is that Pikachu will die to just about any Ground-type attack due to its horrible defensive stats. If you don't have any Ground-type attacks, a strong Physical move is a decent substitute, although you'll be subject to paralysis from Pikachu's ability, Static.

The bad news is that Pikachu will probably severely damage your Pokemon with Thunderbolt or Volt Tackle, although at least the latter will leave a massive dent in Pikachu as well. Other than the Sinnoh Legendary Pokemon, Heatran, nothing resists both Dragon- and Fire-type moves, so Charizard has excellent coverage between its attacks.

Flare Blitz and Blast Burn are both extremely powerful, but they each have drawbacks: Flare Blitz deals recoil damage, while Blast Burn requires it to recharge during its next turn. Your best bet against Charizard is to use a Water-type Pokemon with high defense and HP; if you're lucky, Charizard will use Flare Blitz despite the type disadvantage and lop off a ton of its own HP in the process, softening it up for your own STAB attacks. You do not want Charizard to have low health or else its ability, Blaze, activates and powers up Blast Burn and Flare Blitz even more.

As always, Rock-type attacks are Charizard's worst enemy as well. Obviously, Sleep Powder will put your Pokemon asleep and, with a lot of pressure on you already, wasting time to wake up your Pokemon is not ideal. As a result, you may want to attach a Lum Berry to your Pokemon best suited toward dealing with Venusaur.

Frenzy Plant is the Grass-type equivalent of Blast Burn: a super powerful move that requires a turn to recharge after its use, and Venusaur's ability, Overgrow, boosts its Grass-type moves when its health gets low. However, as Grass- and Poison-type moves have awful coverage, a Steel-type Pokemon is excellent here, as it resists Grass- and is immune to Poison-type attacks.

Otherwise, Venusaur is weak against Fire-, Flying-, Psychic- or Ice-type attacks, with Blizzard being ideal due to the weather. Focus Blast, while very powerful, is also fortunately highly inaccurate. Finally, Blastoise's elemental move, Hydro Cannon, is a super powerful Water-type move that requires a turn to recharge and, when Blastoise's health is low, receives a boost from Blastoise's Torrent ability. Now, you can actually catch this Pokemon which we did , and as it's one of a kind, you may want to do just that.

But you don't have to, especially if you already have a standard blue Gyarados already in your party. Either way, once caught or slain, the Red Gyarados causing a scene at the Lake of Rage and a lot of drama back in Mahogany Town is officially considered nullified. After you beat him or catch him you'll get a Red Scale. Reach the land at the Lake of Rage and talk to the man with the Dragonite. Help out with his investigation to continue the story.

When you make it back to shore following the battle, you'll run into a mysterious man named Lance. Upon speaking with him, you'll learn that he's investigating something back in Mahogany Town, and even though he doesn't know you and has no idea of your capabilities, he invites you to help him. You won't have much of a choice but to agree.

He'll then flee back to Mahogany Town in short order, beckoning you to follow behind him. You should do so, of course, but not before you leave the Lake of Rage area and immediately return. When you do, two Fisherman-type trainers, Andre and Raymond, will have shown up along the southern shore. You can fight both of these guys before heading back to Mahogany Town. Next fly to Cherrygrove City to find Mr.

Return to Embedded Tower to face Rayquaza. User Info: Kraleck. The game is completed, though it's not over. You can still do anything that was available before beating him. And no, you cannot go to the Hoenn region. User Info: ellis After you beat red you can get the other starter pokemon after defeating him and u can still do all the stuff u did before you deafeated him.

By the time the player reaches Victory Road , Silver battles against the player not out of malice, but to prove that he is a good Trainer. He is defeated and departs to continue training.

The player battles Silver on Mt. After the player has become Champion , Silver can indeed be found training in the Dragon's Den on Tuesday and Thursday, where he cannot be battled. On Monday and Wednesday, he will appear at Indigo Plateau and will challenge the player to a battle if they appear there. Moon giving him the chance to avenge his loss from earlier. In terms of personality, Silver is initially the darkest of the rivals in the series.

While most other rivals are generally good-natured, or at least zestful enough to crack a joke at the player, Silver is at first cruel, hateful, power-obsessed and even physically abusive, pushing the player character around several times.
